13th June 2015 After a night out, the best thing to help get over it is lunch out with a loved one. We decided to go to The Three Wishes in Cheap Street, a great place for tea, coffee and cake or lunch which we have been to a few times. As it was a nice day we followed the signs to the garden. To our surprise the garden was a very sunny court yard, surrounded by all the old buildings that lined Cheap Street, with large benches for groups of people to sit, relax, refuel and catch up. It was lovely and quiet, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Sherborne high street. Oh…. the food was good as always! Thank you The Three Wishes.

It’s Wine O’Clock!
Friday 12th June 2015
What a fab night….. Hannah Wilkins, the owner of Vineyards wine Shop in Sherborne has been open for 10 years and celebrated with a wine tasting evening. All her local suppliers were there, allowing us to samples some of their amazing products, with food being supplied by the Bakery Cafe….. All for free!
The products, along with red, white and rosé wines, included a copper pot distilled Dorset gin, vodka made from milk (yes, I dd say milk!), different flavoured nuts and of course Champagne and Prosecco. To help us decide our favourite wines, we scored the ones we tried. Personally, I loved the local Sherborne Estate Wines and the amazing ‘Gioi Extra Dry Prosecco, Italy’ from Vintage Roots (Emmanuel Byilingiro).
Happy Birthday Vineyards….!!
